System requirements and install size
The Enhanced Remaster listing asks for Windows 11, an i5-3330 or FX-8350, a GTX 650 Ti or HD 7770, DirectX 12 and 90 GB of storage.
The Enhanced Remaster lists a much heavier machine than the 2018 release, mostly because of the 90 GB install and a Windows 11 floor. Here are both sets of numbers side by side, as printed on the store pages.

Reading the numbers
- The 90 GB is the number that catches people out. The 2018 release is a 16 GB install; the Enhanced Remaster page lists 90 GB, which is a full-package figure rather than a delta.
- Windows 11 as a floor is a real constraint. The 2018 build supported Windows 7. If you are on Windows 10, the 2018 release runs; whether the DLC installer will is a store-level claim, not something this site can test.
- The minimum target is 1280x720 with anti-aliasing off. That tells you the floor is about booting and running, not about using the native 4K output the DLC advertises. The two features are on opposite ends of the same hardware range.
- DirectX 12 on the DLC listing means the newer package expects a DX12-capable GPU generation. A card that meets the 2018 minimum (GT630) does not meet the 2026 one (GTX 650 Ti).
What actually costs frames
Three settings dominate. Native 4K quadruples the pixel count over 1080p. HDR costs little on its own but usually pairs with a higher resolution. A 120 fps target costs roughly double the frame budget of 60 at the same resolution. Pick two of the three on mid-range hardware; the graphics settings page covers the combinations.
If you are upgrading from the 2018 release
You do not need to reinstall the base game to try the DLC, but the storage figure suggests the package is far larger than the 2018 install, so check free space before you start. If the download never begins, that was a launch fault with an official fix — DLC install fix.
