Resonance of Fate

Resonance of Fate achievements

Quick answer

All 47 achievements belong to the base game. 76.1% of owners beat the first enemy, 7.6% finish the story and 1.5% clear a second lap.

Resonance of Fate has 47 Steam achievements, all of them on the base game. The Enhanced Remaster DLC does not add any, so this list is the whole set whether you play the 2018 release or the upgraded version.

The percentages below are the current global unlock rates pulled from Steam on 31 October 2026, not estimates. They are the fastest way to see where players actually stop: 76.1% of owners beat the first enemy, 7.6% finish the game, and 1.5% complete a second lap.

What the numbers say about the difficulty curve

Three cliffs are visible in that table. The first is the prologue-to-chapter-1 gap: 55.7% clear the prologue but 44.2% clear chapter 1, so roughly one in five players who start quits inside the first chapter. The second is around chapter 9, where the completion rate falls under 12% and the game's optional Arena and side-mission content starts competing for the same hours. The third is the endgame: 9.0% reach chapter 14, 8.7% finish chapter 15, and 7.6% see the credits.

That is a normal shape for a 2010 hardcore JRPG — but it also means the achievement percentages are a useful planning tool. If you are at chapter 6 and it feels like the game spiked, you are in the same place 17.3% of players stopped.

Achievements that need a plan, not just play

Most of the list unlocks itself. A handful need deliberate setup:

AchievementWhy it needs planning
Lap Two CompleteA second full playthrough; 1.5% of players have it.
Stardust HuntersRequires a star rank everywhere; the rarest at 1.4%.
The Iron Fist30 kills with no weapon equipped; 1.8%.
Basel's LiberatorEvery hex on the map; 4.0%, and the Arena and map pages here both feed into it.
The Legendary HunterEvery mission in the game, including the chapter-locked side missions.
Kings Of NeverlandNeverland sits behind black hexes dropped late in the Basilica.

Things people get wrong

  • Chapter achievements are sequential and unmissable, but side missions are not: advancing a chapter forfeits whatever you skipped. See side missions.
  • New Game Plus resets progress toward a second completion, and the difficulty ladder only advances one step per clear, so the final difficulty tier is a nine-clear project. Details on the New Game Plus page.
  • Nothing here is missable on a second lap in the same difficulty — levels, bezels, hexes and weapons carry over.
