Supported languages on Steam
The base game lists six languages with English and Japanese audio. The DLC listing adds Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean.
The base game and the DLC list different language sets on Steam, and the difference is the DLC's least-discussed feature: it adds three Asian languages to a game that shipped with five European ones.

Base game (4K/HD Edition, app 645730)
| Language | Interface | Full audio |
|---|---|---|
| English | Yes | Yes |
| French | Yes | No |
| Italian | Yes | No |
| German | Yes | No |
| Spanish (Spain) | Yes | No |
| Japanese | Yes | Yes |
English and Japanese are the only two with full voice acting. Everything else is subtitles and menus.
Enhanced Remaster DLC (app 4996080)
The DLC's Steam listing carries the same six languages plus three more:
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- Korean
Those three are listed for the DLC entry, which is why a search for the remaster in Chinese or Korean returns the DLC page rather than the 2018 release.
What this means in practice
- If you need Chinese or Korean text, the DLC listing is the one that advertises it — check the language block on the DLC store page before buying, because the base game does not list those languages.
- Voice acting does not change: the two full-audio languages stay English and Japanese.
- The game's Japanese title is End of Eternity, and the Japanese store page uses that name, which is why Japanese-language coverage of the remaster often does not mention "Resonance of Fate" at all.
A note on the Japanese release
The official tri-Ace site for the Japanese version lists the platform line as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam for End of Eternity Enhanced Remaster. The Steam pages covered on this site are the Windows releases; this site does not cover console storefronts. If you are shopping on a console, the product page there is the authority, not this one.
